Old Grandma and Old Grandpa came to town

Sydney lovingly named my grandparents, her great grandparents "old grandma" and "old grandpa" and it stuck. I think they love it too! :) They came to town this passed weekend as well as my Aunt Ruthie and cousin Rachel.

It was a fun event-filled weekend! Thursday night dinner at my parents house with the fam. Then Friday we watched UK beat UofL together at my parents house! Which I must say was an amazing game! Then Saturday evening we got together at my Aunt Debbie and Uncle Chris' house and had our Christmas together and celebrated Grandpa's 83rd birthday. I know I've blogged about it before here, but I just love being around my grandparents. I love watching how much they love each other and how much they love their family... all of us. When my Aunt Debbie asked Grandpa if he wanted to sit at a certain spot at the table, he said, "No I want to go sit next to my sweetheart." After 62 years of marriage, he still wants to sit next to his sweetheart. Love him. It is just so wonderful to spend time with them! They really are my favorite people.

I think we need a giant Bellman reunion... somewhere warm, somewhere fun and somewhere soon. It has been a LONG time since we've all been together, but I am at least glad I got to spend this weekend with some of them. :)
